Front/rear linear pull brakes and alloy wheel rims combine for consistent stopping action. The 6 gears will tackle hills, flats and varied riding conditions. Its knobby tires provide good grip for any situation from paved bike path to off road. There is an SIS index shifter for precise, consistent shifting, riser handlebars, 6 speed Shimano rear derailleur, 20" wheels with 20 x 2.125" MTB tires, kickstand and MTB pedals. An entry level kids mountain bike designed to grow with the child, the seat has a quick release and adjusts from 23.5"-29" high, the stand over height is 24". This kid's MTB is appropriate for children from approximately 6-10 years old. Assembly and tuning are required, a 3-size Allen key and 2-size open wrench are included for minor adjustments and assembly help. We highly recommend bringing it to a local shop for a safety check/tuning by a qualified bike mechanic prior to riding.
